    Windows 8 Ghost Recon Crashing

When will Ghost Recon Online support Windows 8? I'm getting tired of crashing every other game, and it's very tedious to downgrade just for ghost recon.

This game is not yet optimized for Windows 8. I've been enduring the same issue for months and months. Support has no remedy for your crashing. I crash at least 3 - 4 times daily or after every third match consistently.

Why would you play competitively while using an unsupported operating system?

Sounds like you're setting yourself up for failure to me...

what's your version of Microsoft .NET Framework ??

because GR:O requiring Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1

    and W8 don't have it ...

To run apps that require the .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows 8, you must enable version 3.5 on your computer.

should be a reason for no compatibilty

if your running the graphics to the max drop them to mid. even if your computer can easily handle it. i am running win 8. my current rig can easily handle this game but i had the same issues. i dropped setting to the mid lvl and dont have it nearly as much.

seems like gro is setting themselves up for failure. when you check what's supported. it does not support the most current version of windows. the list of supported graphics cards and drivers is well behind the current industry.

    1) Win 8 is still in the process of being understood fully and integrated into the game engine.

    2) I agree that an update on the System Requirements are needed...

Windows 8 is a terrible operating system, I don't even think that 8.1 will fix enough of the issues it had on launch to change my mind at all. There's just so much flawed about it that it's not even worth developing for.

As for the hardware requirements, generally all game system requirements simply list "You must have XYZ hardware or better". Assume that is what the GRO system requirements are saying.

I have windows 8 and I have no problem running the game. Its the consistent frame rate drops that are bugging me. canyourunit.com even says that my computer specs are optimal, but I get terrible framerate issues while even running it at low settings.
