    ADS with an LMG in CQC is almost fruitless now. Unless there is some distance between you and your target, open sight is the only way to go.

    What I'd like to understand, however, is why CQC LMGs have a crit% nerf in ADS? My Para is supposed to be level 7 (21%), and yet, I'm only seeing 12% in ADS. So what's the point in building up crit % and being rewarded for staying with that weapon? Even if I sell my Para and buy it again later on, there's no reason for the reduction, when I built up experience with that model.

    I don't think it's just CQC LMGs. The GI/SV LMG I have does not show full crit % when ADS out of cover either.

    When i used one(sold it on accident) I took the scope off.

    Hullo. Yes you won't get max crit when aiming down sight out of cover, because crit is distributed according a curve that's linked to your reticle size. That's intended. However, regarding crit when out of cover, we found a bug with the HG and LMG crit distribution curves. What you see on the main page is actually a hypothetical max value for the weapon family.

    Unfortunately, the curve didn't allow you to reach the hypothetical max because it cut off before the max could be achieved. I've popped a fix in for 0.10.0 to deal with this. Look forward to the fix =p

    Interesting.

    So when in cover and fully stabilized we should see our LMG's reach the full crit percentage.

    As far as I can tell no weapon gives you your max crit. Closest you get is 3% off. I have tested this with all my sniper rifles and looked into it with my LMG's yesterday. Even if you are in cover and prone you don't get the full amount. So as AppleBite asked what is the point in maxing it out?

    Ok, so ummm... the reticle size for the LMGs... is there a fix for how quickly they open up? Because as one can imagine, anything over 800 ROF is nearly a loss cause. it doesn't take very long to lose all accuracy with the LMG as they are now, and most weapons with a high rate of fire won't cause nearly enough damage when used in burst. It may not affect the CQC models worth anything, because they're usually no further than 10m at a time anyhow. As for the SV variants, where some of us use them not only in burst, but for suppression as well, how will they be affected by the reticle changes?

    P.S. please replace the MG4....
