Question Is upgrading from M96 SV to L86 SV worth it?

    Hey everyone.

I'm currently using the M96 SV and for the most part, I'm loving it. I tend to be a medium/long range cover style player, but I like to help out with team pushes and the occasional suppressive fire too.

I was just wondering, am I missing out by not upgrading to the L86 SV (or another LMG to fit my playstyle)? What are the noticeable differences other than the huge drop in magazine capacity?

I'm only level 12 at the moment, but I'm happy to wait untill an appropriate upgrade becomes available.

Any advice or recommendations will be much appreciated!

If you like the gun, keep using it.
Eventually youl get bored of it and then you can try something new. Its not exaclty that theres gunfeast out there - 7 basic models is not that much, especially consdiering that lvl30 armament is always superior to anything that comes be4.

It's worth it, but consider that the SV guns are meant mid-long range not cqc. The L86 SV, infact the whole L86 family, is the second most stable lmg family for specialist.
By upgrading to L86 SV it's pretty much all good points with little negative, more accuracy (highest in any lmg), more fire rate, more damage, ready time is already comparable, C-Mag gives you 100 rounds over the basic 30, control is slightly less but not an issue really and it has semi mode which makes it a lot more accurate and easier to handle for long range shooting/counter sniping.

    Thanks for the advice Leiywen!

That has pretty much sealed the deal for me. I look forward to giving the L86 SV a try.
